A hard cap for 112mm filter threads
112mm is an awkward size. Very few lenses use it, which means very few people make caps for it, which is usually how owners of those lenses end up here.
It screws onto the 112mm thread with no adapter. The raised anti-slip ring means the lens can stand on its face safely, and it comes off one-handed with gloves on.
It works with the hood mounted forward or reversed.
Check the front ring of your lens for the ∅ symbol and the number printed next to it. If it says 112, this is the one.
About the 3D printing. It is not hobby filament. It is fiberglass-reinforced engineering plastic, printed by us in the USA, with stainless steel screws and springs.
