The Sigma 300-600mm F4 Sports is the heaviest lens in this range at 3,970g, and it has the largest front section of anything we make a cap for. That is a lot of exposed glass, and the supplied cover is a soft slip-on.

Our cap is made for the front of this specific lens. It clicks on and locks with two stainless springs, and comes off one-handed with gloves on, which matters on a lens this size because your other hand is usually holding it. The raised anti-slip ring lets you rest it face down between setups without the whole lens creeping across a flat surface.

It clears the LH1615-01 hood in both positions.

E mount and L mount. The cap fits the front of the lens, so it is the same part regardless of which mount version you bought.

About the 3D printing. It is not hobby filament. It is fiberglass-reinforced engineering plastic, printed by us in the USA, with stainless steel screws and springs. On a lens this heavy the cap takes real knocks, which is why the springs and screws are steel rather than moulded plastic clips.
